It's been a while...

Since you last heard from me:

• I finished renovating the row cottage I wrote about below;
• I rented out said property after I moved into my partner's gorgeous beachside Art Deco apartment (it did not need renovating);
• We bought our forever home together (after a search which lasted 1.5 years), which surprise, surprise - needs some renovations and improvements;
• I sold my row cottage and made a nice little profit, which will pay for a fraction of our upcoming renovations; and
• I commenced my studies in interior design.

The last time I tried to keep this blog going I had way too much on my plate. I am in a different frame of mind on this occasion.
